Darn it, I seem to have gotten sick at a bad time again. Good thing today was a Blue Day, I went home after first hour, not having any other classes.

I've gotten a first look at Midtown Madness 1, and it's pretty cool. It's kinda a dissapointment that you're limited to downtown Chicago, but that's not too bad, cause there's tons of little scenearios and games to play. The car physics is not too bad, though I've seen better. Handling, especially, is a little on the weird side. I wonder if a Microsoft Sidewinder Wheel would fix that. And car selection kinda sucks too, they're kinda obsessed with Ford Mustangs. Owell, what's impressive is traffic! It actually has some! And you can set traffic levels to near grid-lock. Wow! And pedestrians too! Now that's fun. And the Interstate is really fun too, cause there's a cloverleaf interchange, and a few diamonds. And the streets are very realistic to Chicago. So basically, I'm impressed with the driving environment. Midtown Madness 2 must fix a lot of the problems with the first version. Well, it still only has two cities, San Fransisco and England, but now there are 20 cars, including the Audi TT.

Ok, this sucks. I had accepted a job to organize and play a string trio in Hermann, MO on December 9th, and I find out tonight there is a Strolling Strings performance. It's amazing, I've called 4 people and none of them had realized there was a performance that night, because it was thrown into the calendar on the last minute. Argh. Kinda late to be finding this out too.

Well, the Thanksgiving weekend passed and I got absolutely no work done on my website, I guess it'll have to wait till Christmas Break.

Youth Symphony had a concert this afternoon, and it went pretty well. That 2nd movement of the Beethoven 2nd Symphony was very tiring, my shoulder was sore by the end of it. Powell Hall is really neat, and the acoustics are a lot different when there are people in it. People absorb sound. I almost felt like I was playing by myself at times, cause I couldn't hear what was around me.
