We set out for a 2600-mile drive this week. With things the way they are, we took the journey like masked bandits across the country. We only stopped and surfaced in obscure, non-public places. No restaurants - I packed a big cooler of food and we did a bit of picnicing. I can fit on a small piece of paper the few people we actually had any contact with in an indoor room. It's a bit of a change from how I have always traveled, but planning a different kind of trip was kind of fun in its own way too. It's been 6 months since I have left the state, so it was kind of a nice change in scenery.
Youtube Video - We took the fast track north through Fort Worth - Chisholm Trail Parkway to the I-35W express lane. A bunch of UP locomotives are still sitting in a line at the rail yard.
