I had installed Windows 2000 on a very small (700MB) partition, and it's time for more growing room. I swiped a whole bunch of partitions filled with programs I rarely use, and now my hard drive is a little cleaner. I have come to a conclusion that, yes, I can live off of 9GB of hard drive space very comfortably. You know, it is @ times like these that you realize how great Windows 2000 is. It's a breeze to install. It detects all your hardware (the stuff it didn't detect was my wacky stuff, like my weird VIA USB controller and stuff).
Ok, so my brother wants to go fill up air in his scooter. I open the back door, and show him that it's raining outside. He's like "yeah, we'll go anyways!", and walks out and shuts the door, locking it. Oh crap. I don't have keys! Well, time to hot-wire the car and drive to church, where my parents are for an all-day workshop. Now this hot-wire thing is coming in handy. Alright, so I get to church. I park, and my brother decides to lock the car when we get out. No! I don't have a key! Well, my parents did, so that's all cool. Ok, so we got home, and I opened the trunk and he unloaded the bike. He threw the keys into the trunk of the wagon, and took out the bike, then closed the wagon right on top of the keys, which were sitting at the hinge. What! This is impossible! I had to dig in and pry the keys out from under the hatch, cause you couldn't reach the keys directly from the inside or outside. Argh! Talk about key trouble.

Well, I auditioned in the preliminary audition for the St. Louis Youth Symphony today. I was like the second person schedule this weekend, so that was cool. I'm pretty happy with it.

Alright, Subaru released some some different pictures again for the new Impreza. They are on new-impreza.com. Hmmm. It's shocking, and I was almost disgusted at first glance, then I realized that it isn't all that bad. The round headlights, yes, are a radical change, but it is kinda Porsche-like. And the back I've already gotten used to, it's cool. I think some body kits could take care of a few other glitches. As long as the mechanical aspects are all still there, which is why that car is so nice.

Woah! I just realized something. I had thought something was busted @ the school's intercom system, but then I realized that the annoying beep that came on every so often was scheduled. Bells! Ack! I got so used to not having bells last year! I mean, after last year, I realized they were absolutely useless, and really kinda annoying. Owell, I guess I'll learn to filter it out like I always have.

My CD burner came back! Woohoo! It's making a different, stranger noise now, but it works beautifully. It reads all the CDs now, and so far, CD-RW seems to be back in working order!
It's the second day of the Lightwave class. It's totally awesome! I love Lightwave! This is really getting me to like graphic design a lot. Lightwave is the kind of program designed for video production, too. They use it primarily to do the movies nowadays. Video production is actually really cool. It's a good thing I'm signed up for some Video coursework at school next year.
Speaking of classes, they've got some form of a schedule for students at school now. And it's pretty darned messed up. They have me in like three classes during one period on a "White" day, and all that good stuff. Hmmmmm.

I started a week-long 3D Lightwave class today at school. They hired this teacher to come train some of our staff in our district on 3D Computer Animation, and I got a free seat in the class, so that's cool. It's a pretty neat program, the new version 6 that we have has a lot better interface and makes a lot more sense than Lightwave 4.2, which is what I had been working with before. The class is basically technical so far, he's going through and introducing all the features of Lightwave.

Woah! I think Hyundai dealers are having problems here in St. Louis. It's only August, and Accents are $5600, and Elantras start at $7100. That's totally awesome, it makes buying a used car ridiculous.
