You know, it's getting the point where I don't think I will major in Engineering anymore. I want a Liberal Arts degree. I'd be happy with Computer Science, but even something better than that... maybe Political Science, Psychology, or Economics, or something. That'd be cool. I think it's time to narrow down some college choices in that aspect.

Woah, I was digging through some old videos, and I found one from June, 1997. It was a fund-raiser Strolling Strings did. Wow, people have chnaged a lot since then! Including me. Man, I can't believe that's just 3 years, it looks like ages ago! Owell, I'll get around to dumping some videos onto this website very soon.

Turns out, the alignment on my car was also messed up after that last crash. So that got fixed too. New tyres are so awesome. I've got better handling than I've ever had before.

I sent the car in for service today, got new front tyres. They needed repair, I think they contributed to my last little encounter in the rain. I got the regular oil change done too.
Well, while the car was in the shop, Mom, my brother, and I went to Six Flags. I took him on a nice string of roller coasters, and of course he liked The Boss the best. Who doesn't? We spent a lot of the afternoon in Hurricane Harbor. It's been a while since I've been to a waterpark, and I forget how fun it is. I went on this pluger steep waterslide, and it was totally awesome. The float-thingy was also cool, getting hit with the waterfall is awesome. And the wave pool! I forget how fun those things are! Oh! And they reopened the Screamin' Eagle. It's been forever since I rode that one. Stacked up against The Boss, though, it's clear it's an older ride, but still nice and fast. Wow, and I got a nice tan today too.

Man, cascading style sheets rocks! On this new site, I don't have to type in font tags anymore! And I also slimlined the Javascript into one file, so no more clutter @ the top of my pages!
Argh! Someone did it again! The traffic light at MO340 and Price Road was busted, and all the lights were flashing red. Some idiot in a white Ford Ranger just decided it was a good idea not to stop at the flashing red! I sped out of his way, or he would have hit me. One day it's not going to be so easy to avoid getting hit.

I got rid of that useless case for my Handspring Visor that I bought over 3 weeks ago. The belt clip wasn't really sturdy, and the entire case was poorly designed. The inside holder thingy started getting loose, and the PDA would just fall out when I opened it. And it doesn't offer any protection. If I put it into my pocket, I would accidentaly turn it on and press buttons, just by putting pressure on the case, and it would eventually drain the batteries down and crash the machine. So I went and bought a new case, as shown in the picture. It's one actually branded by Handspring, and it's still got the nifty little pockets to store stuff, and the protection is awesome! It actually incorporates a real hard plastic lid that comes with the Visor! Cool!
Woah! It's a myopia simulator! Ok, it's in German, but it's self-explanatory. Top picture is perfect vision, and then -1, -3, -7, and -15 diopters of myopia.

Strolling had a fundraiser today for Andy Lamers, who had got in an accident and is mostly paralyzed from the neck down. He was a former stroller, and we decided to give him a fundraiser. So that went really nicely. We did two long shows, one at 6:30, one at 8:30. We served some nice deserts, and such. I have photos that I will dump onto the computer some time soon.
We got special audio equipment for this one, 24-channel mixer and JBL speakers and floor mics and such, courtesy of Ladue Show Choir. An added touch was the Minidisc recorder, which we used to make a decent recording, and we didn't even set up the mics in such a way to record! I'm going to get the mp3 files of that soon.
After we cleaned up and such, we all went over to Rebecca's house and chilled. So that was fun.
