We had Youth rehearsal at Kirkwood again, and we read through Sibelius' 2nd Symphony. Wow, I like it! It's actually not too hard, technically, either, compared to the Shostakovich.

Josh bought a foosball table! That makes our room even more cool now, wow. It's a nice one too, with a digital scorekeeper and an "NFS Servo" ball serving system. ok... This afternoon I went to Toys R' Us to just shop around. It's so funny, cause I actually found it amusing to go around and see what kind of stuff they have now. I was set on buying Jenga, cause it's a cool game, but I ended up finding this twist of it called Uno Stacko. They're plastic instead of the cool wood that Jenga is, but there's a nice twist that only allows you to remove certain blocks based on what the last person removed. Good stuff. We had a stroll tonight at the Brentwood Forest Association, where there was a Christmas party for the people that lived in those condos. It was nice and relatively informal and stuff. Afterwards, it was hang out at Chez Darlin', but we played, yes, Uno Stacko.

I went to the Ladue High School band concert, and they played some cool stuff that I've played at one point, like Percussion doing Russian Sailor's Dance, Symphonic Band playing Overture to Candide and Mock Morris. Good stuff.

I finished up finals with Stats/Probability and Psychology today. Afterwards I went to get dinner with Joe, and it was raining out so we also went puddle-driving in my car. Yeah! Then I went on a tour of north St. Louis by taking Skinker and West Florrisant up to Krispe Kremes. That was definitely sketchy. Wow, a whole semester totally over for me now...

Another stroll at the Gambrill Gardens Retirement Centre tonight, which is way out west. I haven't been out to Ellisville on Manchester in 4 years, and I was in for a shock at all the development there now. Any chain store you can possibly conceive of has a store between Woods Mill and Clarkson, it seems. And it's not just all stores, I think the auto dealers have got all the car brands covered along there too. Wow. And then Manchester turns into divided highway and 50 mph further west. Wow.

We had a stroll at the 2 Hearts Banquet Hall today down in South County. It was a really nice drive down there, as the sky was clear, and I44 has very little traffic. We played for a Christmas banquet for a senior adult group. I found out interesting history about the 2 Hearts Banquet Hall, as it used to be a 984-seat 1-screen movie theatre, the largest single-screen theatre in the city. Cool.
After the stroll I went to take my Computer Science final, and it turned out to be very long and boring. I was about to fall asleep, but I managed to stay awake and use up the whole time alotted to finish the test. I only need around a 20% to get an A in the course, so I think I'll be ok.
