The Strolling Strings played for a Y2k celebration at the St. Louis Science Centre in the Exploradome today. That's an inflatable pressurized building. There were 600 guests, and each paid lots and lots of money to get in. And they got their money's worth. There was a totally awesome laser light show with steam, and everything. It was like a night club. The audio system was insane too. They had aluminum trusses that hung the many lights and mirrors for the laser and many speakers. When I was there setting up our sound equipment and hooking it into their system, I watched them program the laser light show and stuff. It was really cool. The actual performance was also really neat. Everyone enjoyed our playing, and I enjoyed playing for them. The sound was really nice, and many people danced to our music on the dance floor. This has been one of the best performances I've done, and this is my 4th year in the group.

I pulled an all nighter again last night, didn't get home until too late from the Governor's Mansion and I had too much stuff to do. I'm surprised I could hold up a trip and then an all-nighter.

I went with the Strolling Strings today to Jefferson City to the Governor's Mansion for a special reception and dinner event. I got to meet the governor and all that, and it was really fun. We got back at around midnight though.

I ordered an Epson Perfection 636 USB scanner and an Epson Stylus Photo 750. Those things are sweet. We have a Perfection where I work, and it's really fast and nice quality. The Photo is awesome, 6-colour printing on 1440dpi.

I finished making this month's issue of Panorama Online for our school.
A friend of mine sent me this link, it's really cool. It has a sneak preview of European cars that will come in the next coupe of years.

I found out the results of yesterday's All State Orchestra auditions. I had made it in. The orchestra will have a convention January 26th to 29th at the Tan-Tar-A resort in the Ozarks.
