We went to the balloon race in Forest Park today. I heard there were like 76 balloons. Wow. It was quite a neat sight.

I heard Dateline NBC did a 1-hour special on Ford Explorers. They made some emergency maneuvers, and saw half the tyres lifting off the pavement, and they even flipped them on occassion. Maybe I should tell Peyton not to do J-turns on his Explorer. Ford is really going to get their behinds kicked for this one, nobody wants to buy a Ford anymore. Second-hand Explorers are going to be so cheap now too. Hmmmm.
The school's Hunger Outreach Project (HOP) organization did an pretty cool event tonight. They used the back of the school's wall to create a 120 square-foot out-door movie screen, and we all sat with blankets on the field and watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Yes, it is a very 80s movie, but I love it! It was a cool movie. Dang, it got kinda cold on the ground tonight... I think fall is finally setting in.

I went to get my picture taken at Prestige Photography studio today, since our school has a contract with them and we all have to get our senior yearbook pictures taken there. Owell. The demo photos of guys that I saw there weren't all that great, so I only told him to take a couple poses. I probably won't buy a big package or anything.
Owell, right after that, I hopped over to school to guide parents around the school building for Open House. It was one of our National Honors Society service activities, and it was pretty fun.
A Harvard University representative came to school today. Man, I'm almost in love with Harvard. This is great. They have some nice alumni connections. And they get $16 billion in endowments a year. Dang. That's more than a central-American country's revenue. Computer Science has 100000 square feet of teaching and lab space. Wow. The rep also said "Oh yeah, then there's that one guy that went to Harvard... he kinda left after 2.5 years though, just decided to leave. Bill Gates, that's his name."

Well, something has kinda been worked out for me to take Orchestra and AP Physics at the same time. I'm going to go to orchestra about once or twice a week for 35 minutes at a time, and hopefully I don't miss too much AP Physics lecture. And it can be adjusted as the year progresses, I guess.

Oh man. You won't believe this. I just spent 20 minutes on the phone, taking a random telephone survey, on guess what topic: the telephone. Ok, it was about cell phones, but still, I loved it. It was my first real telephone survey that I've done, so it was kinda cool. I found the topic very ironic though.
Woah! BMW is bring back All-Wheel Drive! They are putting it in the 325xi and 330xi, as well as the 325i Sport Wagon. Wow!

Wow, this line of code is very useful:

It takes away the underline on links. Cool!

SCSI external connectors can be so confusing. Apparantly, there are 3 differnet kinds of 68-pin connectors! There's Low Density, High Density, and Very High Density. Good grief. This page covers most of them, though.
