Owell, that's the last school-related thing for a while, I feel a lot better, I think I've gotten sick of school, I might have overworked myself this past year.
The Strolling Strings had a very unique performance tonight, we played at the Ibe's Anniversary celebration. They are from Nigeria, and they had this huge traditional party; everybody dressed in native clothing and they had a steel band. It was pretty awesome.
I seem to have been on the crest of a fad amongst our school, as today two people showed up with Handspring Visors, one a blue deluxe and another a normal graphite. Peyton got a new Palm V. We all exchanged stuff and played games with our new little toys. The consequence of Ladue, everybody's got the money to catch the fad. I'm surprised it doesn't seem so nerdy anymore. Darn it, ruin my image.
So, we played at the Regal Hotel. Nicole just drove up to the front circle and left the car, assuming there was valet parking. Problem was, there was no valet parking, and she didn't even go and get a ticket for the parking. It wasn't until 3 hours later after the performance did she realize it all. She had left her car, with the engine on, keys in the ingition, parking in the middle of the driveway of the Regal hotel! Owell, hope all went well.

"WASHINGTON (AP) - A federal judge Wednesday ordered Microsoft Corp. split into two companies, prescribing the biggest corporate breakup since AT&T while harshly rebuking the software giant for stifling computer-age competition. Potentially monumental, the ruling by U.S. District Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson was not the last word in a case that could define the limits of companies operating in a high tech economy. Microsoft has promised to appeal in the case, which had been pressed by the Justice Department and 19 states. The case could go to the U.S. Court of Appeals or directly to the Supreme Court. ***"
Woah! This might get interesting. So now we have two Microsofts, twice as profitable. Owell. Maybe the government doesn't have as much control as it thinks... the way the technology market works, computers will still work the way they do regardless of how many Microsofts we have. I can see a Microsoft/AOL/Time-Warner happening soon.

19:31: Woah! I saw a strech limo Navigator driving around Ladue! Now that thing is unique! I'd say it was about 60 feet long.
