I had to rush over to Florrisant Valley for the Solo-Ensemble festival. I substituted first violin for a violin quartet, and we did pretty well. We played a Telemann Concerto for 4 violins. I like that piece. And the, immediately after, I played my solo. It went relatively well. We got a "1" rating on both of them. So time to play these two again at the State festival.
Then, tonight, I went over to the Sheraton Hotel at Earth City to do a Strolling Strings performance. I set up sound, and the usual stuff. It went well, the audience was very receptive. It was for the Lion's Club dinner.
Argh. I set out this morning in the Cavalier, and the Service Engine Soon light comes on again. I was only 3 minutes from home, so drove back. When I got home, I decided to forget driving this car today, and shut it off. Then smoke started pouring out. Opened hood, found that coolant had leaked all over the engine block and radiator, and was steaming out to evaporate. Owell, probably another leak. Time to get it fixed.

A shipment of iBooks and Airport cards and an Airport station came in. Ugh, the iBook is so horrible. It came with 32MB of RAM running OS9. THat is bad. OS9 takes up about 32MB. And the video drivers stink. It has 1MB. 800x600 is the max. Piece of junk. Design is waaay to funky for me. Anyways, airport is awesome though, but owell, it's not all that great, not worth buying. Owell, it was fun to play with the UFO for a while. Oh, and the power supply for the iBook is like a Yo-yo. I tried it, there was too much friction for it to work, owell.
Well, I went to court today for that supposed traffic violation last month, and it was pretty stupid. I waited in line for one hour just to say that I plead not guilty and set up a time for my trial. Owell. That will happen in April.
Well, we moved again, back to the old house, but kinda rearranged. I got my brother's old room, it's upstairs and nice and cozy.
