Peripherals add quite a lot of fuctionality to computers. Here are some of the things I have.

This is my Logitech WingMan Formula GP USB wheel. It has the 4 configurable buttons you see there, 2 paddle shifters on the back of the wheel.
These are the pedals for the Logitech WingMan Formula GP.
This is a Iomega Predator portable CD burner that I bought for $99 in May 2002. I got it with the intent of using it as a portable drive that will allow me to transfer data between my computer and others on the go easily, but it turns out to not be very portable. The power supply is bigger than the one for my laptop!

These are my random peripherals and accessories. They were all acquired at $10 or less each. The Labtec headphones were $2. Oh, and notice the Boeing 777 mousepad. I saw that at a swap session at Science Olympiad, and I had wanted to pick it up, but Sandor picked it up for me instead and ended up giving it to me as a birthday present. Thanks Sandor!!

The Epson 636 Perfection scanner, a very fast scanner for the time purchased, February 1999, a 300 dpi full page photo in 24 seconds, and excellent quality. Dad uses it now.

The Visioneer OneTouch 8700 USB that came free with my IBM Thinkpad.
The Epson Stylus 750 Photo printer, which prints 1440 dpi with 6 colours, and provides awesome photo prints, especially with glossy paper.

Here's the HP DesignJet 450C 2-foot colour plotter that my dad uses to print his drawings

I love my keyboard. It's a Focus 8200 programmable keyboard. I love programmable keybaords

It's got a built-in calculator, with functions to send the number directly to the computer. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made.

Now, this baby we purchased back in 1993, and it's still running strong. It's a TI Microlaser Plus, and prints 9ppm. I love it.

Our school upgraded our entire network to switches, so there were a bunch of hubs lying around. So picked up this 24-port 3Com Superstack Hub. Unfortunately, it overheated in December 2002 and now it's dead. It's under lifetime warranty though, so 3Com sent me a new one.

To replace the hub to use in my room, I bought this Linksys 4-port 10/100 switch/DSL-cable router for $49 at CompUSA. It has the usual Linksys easy-to-use interface and rock solid reliability.

Now this would be one of the best freebies in the "Discard" pile at school. It's an Apple Personal LaserWriter 320. 8MB of RAM, Postscript, and 4ppm. It appears to be an HP (maybe 4 series?) clone (uses HP toner cartridges). Sure it's slow and has like a 50-sheet paper tray, but it still prints very very nice quality text. Great for personal use (hence the name) I currently have it hooked up to my Macintosh LC550, and my Windows 2000 Pro box is capturing the Appletalk printer over the network and I have laser printing in my room!

This thing is slick.

It's a CD organizer. It holds 36 CDs without jewel cases.

I haven't labeled my tabs yet, but those help in organization a lot.

See? The little flaps even turn. Cool! It only cost $12 too. And they're stackable.

I love CD spindles.

Yeah, this is a spindle of my CompUSA media. Hey, it was cheap. Turns out, I got what I paid for. Older CD-ROMs won't read them.
